Zababdeh - Jenin– Dozan continues its mission to revive the arts and strengthen musical culture in the northern West Bank through engaging, interactive training programs that blend learning with creativity and fun.
In collaboration with the Cultural Center – Municipality of Zababdeh and with the support of the Zababdeh Charitable Association, Dozan organized a special musical event celebrating the graduation of 28 students from its first-level interactive music program, which consisted of 12 interactive educational workshops. The students showcased their progress through instrumental and vocal performances of Palestinian traditional songs in the presence of their families and members of the local community.
The celebration included speeches from representatives of the participating institutions, parents, and Wassim Abdallah, founder of Dozan, who shared the initiative’s mission and vision with attendees. He expressed his gratitude to the parents and partner organizations for their continuous support and collaboration, emphasizing the importance of cultural programs in fostering creativity, resilience, and a deep connection to heritage despite the challenges faced in the region.
In the context of ongoing expansion and development, Dozan has recently launched a new group of students in interactive music workshops, while advancing its first-level graduates to the second level, where they continue refining their musical skills. The initiative has also welcomed new trainers and volunteers, strengthening its educational capacity and expanding its impact.
Looking ahead, Dozan aims to establish partnerships with cultural institutions and expand its services to reach a broader audience within the community. The initiative is committed to offering musical and cultural programs that empower children and youth, enhance their personal development, and strengthen their connection to heritage. Additionally, Dozan aspires to become the leading cultural hub in northern Palestine, facilitating cultural exchange and serving as a beacon of creativity through local and national participation, as well as international collaborations via global cultural networks. Dozan is now a recognized member of the Anna Lindh Foundation network, opening doors for international cultural collaborations and knowledge exchange.
