The Eastern Neighborhood Women's Center/Jenin, in cooperation with the Medical Relief, implemented several courses on advanced first aid by the Medical Relief staff for groups of women and young volunteers. Around 60 women and young volunteers were trained in first aid, and a first aid team was formed in the neighborhood. They were provided with first aid kits and supplies. The Women's Center was designated as a gathering and starting point for the neighborhood's first responders to help and intervene in saving the injured.
Additionally, a group of women was trained in psychological first aid and the methods and mechanisms for protection and psychological intervention for those who have lost loved ones, children, and victims of violence in general. Individual interventions were also carried out for those experiencing the symptoms of violence.
The center also organized several activities for children to provide emotional release and support through recreational activities.
